Out of Hours Service – NHS 111
Out of Hours service is the responsibility of the Primary Care Trust and is provided by the GP co-operative – Herts Urgent Care (HUC).
This service is available:
Monday to Friday: 6.30pm – 8:00am
Weekends: Friday 6:00pm – Monday 8:00am
The service also covers Bank Holidays.
If you need to contact a doctor during this time they are available by calling ” 1 1 1 “
NHS Walk-in Centres / Urgent Treatment Centres / Minor Injury Units
Urgent treatment centres provide medical help when it’s not a life-threatening emergency.
Other types of urgent care services are called minor injuries units or walk-in centres. They offer some of the same help as urgent treatment centres.
